Laura Logan - Teacher Assistant Laura Logan - Lead Montessori Educator Laura Logan has been a Teacher Assistant at The Children's School since November of 2023. I grew up in Portsmouth, married a Navy man and have three daughters. I just became a grandmother this month! I'm so thankful to be back in Rhode Island, after thirty years away. I'm glad to be near family and to be working with preschoolers. I started teaching preschool in 2007 and have taught in several states. I was certified in Montessori in 2016. I believe that the Montessori method is the best way for children to learn and grow at their own pace. Two of my daughters benefited from Montessori education in Washington state and Virginia. At The Children's School, I love getting to know the children and working with dedicated staff to provide the best learning environment possible. I also enjoy providing enrichment lessons in music. It is a joy and a privilege for me to work with little children.
